YEREVAN, 3 JULY, NOYAN TAPAN: Local self-government elections are scheduled to be held in Jermuk and 5 rural communities of 3 provinces on July 4. Residents of Davtashen community of Aragatsotni province, Geghasar community of Lori province, Bavra community of Shirak province will elect heads of villages, while the residents of Antaramut and Meghvahovit communities of Lori province will elect members of the council of elders. Running for mayor of Jermuk are existing mayor, member of the Republican Party of Armenia Vardan Hovhannisyan and unemployed, non-partisan Zorik Vardanyan.
