October 1st, 2012, Yerevan, Armenia – VivaCell-MTS, a subsidiary of “Mobile TeleSystems” OJSC, became the general sponsor of one of the most spectacular events of the year – the Red Bull X-Fighters Jams Freestyle motocross performed by the world’s renowned athletes – in the Republic Square, Yerevan. The X-Fighters Jams motor show, which had so far been available to the Armenian extreme sports lovers on TV alone, was organized in Yerevan with VivaCell-MTS general sponsorship, and was broadcasted live on VivaCell-MTS online video channel. The breathtaking show was performed by world famous stars Alexei Kolesnikov (Russia), Daniel Bodin (Sweden), Kirill Gavrilov (Russia), and Alexei Aysin (Russia). The masters of motorsports demonstrated their incredible tricks on a three-meter springboard – flying more than 10 meters above the ground, while managing with absolute accuracy the 100 kg weight of the motorcycle. FMX in Russia was founded by 28-year-old athlete Alexei Kolesnikov, or Kalashnikov, as colleagues call him, who was the first to perform the back flip in Russia. Today Alexei Kolesnikov is one of the world’s top twenty athletes.
