In the framework of the policy of preservation of national identity, reproduction and propagation of national and traditional values as well as promotion of international cooperation the Ministry of Culture and Youth Affairs of Artsakh Republic launches new international project Artsakh EthnoFest
Artsakh EthnoFest is an international festival to be held annually in Artsakh with the participation of representatives of different countries. Each festival will have its own frame and will feature a particular trend of national culture.
The first festival named Taste of Country and representing national cuisines of different countries, will be organized on September 15-17, 2016. Both skilled chefs and people of different occupation from France, Romania, Moldova, South Korea, Syria, Georgia, Armenia and Artsakh will take part in it. They will cook and serve the guests their national dishes.
The event will be held on September 16th at Isahaki Aghbyur (Isahak’s Spring) resort in Shushi. French crêpes, Romanian mamaliga, Korean dishes with rice, Syrian salads and Oriental sweets, Georgian satsivi together with the visit card of Artsakh cuisine – zhengalov hats, as well as kurkut and traditional barbecue will be presented. The foreign guests will be given the opportunity to take part in zhengalov hats masterclass and contest. The festival will be accompanied with fascinating concert.
