Arthur Abraham visited Masis Youth Center and the construction site of the city's first family sports complex

22 May 2017 –the meeting of the world-famous boxer of Armenian origin Arthur Abraham with the participants of Masis Youth(MY) Centerthe residents of the city took place. The boxer answered all questions, gave autographs, and took pictures with the kids.
After emotionally-saturated and frank meeting, Abraham visited the construction site of the first family sports complex of Masis, got acquainted with the progress of work and the potential of the sports center.
"First of all, I would like to thank both the author of these wonderful projects Gagik Adibekyan and his team for such great initiatives: the Masis Youth Center and the first family sports complex of the city. I am impressed with the potential of the young people of Masis, their activism and involvement in the life of the city.
You are doing a great job, and I am more than sure that with the construction of this complex, we will have many new athletes, new names in the history of Armenian sport, which will raise the flag in honor of our country in many authoritative competitions.
I want the names of the children present here to be memorized by descendants as the Olympic champions, champions of Europe and the world. This is the main start of their sporting way", - said the legendary boxer Arthur Abraham.
The family sports complex will include two outdoor sports grounds - for mini-football and basketball, a playground for children, a zone for outdoor activities equipped with fitness machines. The investment in the project will be about $ 2 million.
The project will be implemented in two stages: in September 2017, the opening of sports grounds will take place, in June 2018, the construction will be completed.
The solemn ceremony of laying a "time capsule" which symbolizes the start of construction of the first family sports complex took place on the 28th of March 2017.

Masis Development Foundation bases its work on developing the potential of youth and city residents, supporting their initiatives and providing them the conditions for disclosing their opportunities.
The Masis Youth Center works in three key directions: education, social projects and volunteerism. At the moment, the center consists of 120 children and teenagers under the age of 18.
The projects are implemented by the Adibekyan Family Foundation for Advancement (AFFA) charitable organization and Masis Development Foundation founded by AFFA.
Masis Development Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2015 by the charitable organization Adibekyan Family Foundation for Advancement with the aim of promoting the development of the city of Masis. The Foundation's work is aimed at uniting the residents to improve the quality of life in the city and creating a new generation of active, passionate citizens who will subsequently contribute to the development and prosperity of Armenia.
The Foundation founded the Masis Youth (MY) Center - a unique platform created for the development of youth initiatives of the city, the identification of talents and abilities. The Youth Center works in three key directions: education, social projects and volunteerism. At the moment, it consists of more than 120 children and adolescents under the age of 18.
Also, the MY Center launched the city portal ilovemasis.com, where you can learn about the main events not only of the Masis Development Foundation, but the whole city.
