LAS VEGAS, JUNE 10, NOYAN TAPAN. The Las Vegas Open International Chess Tournament finished on June 8 in the U.S. In the speed chess tournament Tigran L. Petrosian and Gabriel Sargsian gained 5.5 out of 6 possible points each and took the first and second places, respectively. Varuzhan Hakobian (U.S.) and Enrico Seiliano (Brazil) recorded the best results in the tournament held by the Swiss contest rules gaining 5 out of 6 possible points each. Gabriel Sargsian and Tigran L. Petrosian took the fourth and fifth places with 4.5 points each.
