Seven new postage stamps dedicated to the theme “Insurance Foundation for Servicemen”

On December 22nd, 2020, seven postage stamps dedicated to the theme “Insurance Foundation for Servicemen” have been cancelled and put into circulation. 
 
The postage stamps with nominal values of 120, 220, 230, 280, 330 and 500 AMD are printed in “Cartor” printing house in France with print-run of 10 000 stamps each. The authors of the postage stamps’ design are “Domino Production” LLC and Rem Sahakyan. 
 
“HayPost” CJSC has issued a donation coupon for 500 AMD attached to the postage stamps. “HayPost” CJSC will transfer 500 AMD donation value to the Insurance Foundation for Servicemen.  
 
The postage stamp with the nominal value of 120 AMD depicts the monument to David of Sassoun, the hero of the Armenian national epic “Daredevils of Sassoun”, against the background of Artsakh nature. The upper part of the postage stamp depicts the inscription “#WEWILLWIN” in Armenian language.
 
The postage stamp with the nominal value of 220 AMD depicts the sculpture group “Mountain dance” against the background of Artsakh nature. The upper part of the postage stamp depicts the inscription “#WEWILLDANCE” in Armenian language.
     
The postage stamp with the nominal value of 230 AMD depicts the monument of the famous Armenian circus artist, clown Leonid Yengibaryan against the background of Artsakh nature. The upper part of the postage stamp depicts the inscription “#WEWILLSMILE” in Armenian language.
 
The postage stamp with the nominal value of 280 AMD depicts the monument of the Armenian Archimandrite (Vardapet), composer, musicologist and singer Komitas against the background of Artsakh nature. The upper part of the postage stamp depicts the inscription “#WEWILLSING” in Armenian language.
 
The postage stamp with the nominal value of 330 AMD depicts the monument of the prominent Armenian painter Martiros Sarian against the background of Artsakh nature. The upper part of the postage stamp depicts the inscription “#WEWILLPAINT” in Armenian language.
 
The postage stamp with the nominal value of 380 AMD depicts the monument of the famous Armenia composer Arno Babajanyan against the background of Artsakh nature. The upper part of the postage stamp depicts the inscription “#WEWILLPLAY” in Armenian language.
 
The postage stamp with the nominal value of 500 AMD depicts the monument of the creator of the Armenian alphabet Mesrop Mashtots against the background of Artsakh nature. The upper part of the postage stamp depicts the inscription “#WEWILLCREATE” in Armenian language.
 
Attached to the mini-sheet of seven postage stamps, “HayPost” CJSC has also issued a donation coupon for 5000 AMD, depicting the soldier Albert Havhannisyan during the military actions, who was posthumously awarded the medal “For Courage” of Artsakh. The slogans “MY NAME IS ARTSAKH” and “WE WILL WIN” in Armenian and English are depicted in the lower left corner of the coupon.
 
The postage stamps were cancelled by the Chief Executive Officer of “HayPost” CJSC Hayk Karapetyan, the Executive Director of the Insurance Foundation for Servicemen Varuzhan Avetikyan, the President of Philatelists’ Armenian Association Hovik Musaelyan.
