Hayland.am Armenian social network supports active collection of signatures in favor its user’s letter, addressed to the presidents of Armenia and Russian Federation with a request to suppress manifestations of ethnic hatred in Russia. Network’s user Harutyun Gyozalyan has posted 2 letters in his blog addressed to the presidents of Armenia and Russia, asking them to take action against crimes motivated by ethnic hatred, that have been recently committed in Russia. "Russia is a multiethnic country, inhabited by representatives of different cultures and faiths. Those who call themselves patriots, and kill people on ethnic grounds, are in fact Nazis, and have no connection to the true patriots"- sais the letters’ author. He also mentions the recent murder of 23-year-old Armenian student in Moscow, Mkrtych Mkrtchyan. “Due to historical background Armenians are now citizens of many countries, including Russia. We want Russian government to pay appropriate attention to ethnic minorities’ problem. We do not need fake trials; we need real action and solutions.” Hayland.am users and administration supports this cause and add their voices to this letter.
