On 26 March Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan visited the town of Hadrout and had a meeting with youth representatives of the region.
Issues related to the republic’s socio-economic development and domestic policy were touched upon during the meeting. Special attention was paid to the state’s youth policy.
According to the Head of the State the creation of necessary conditions for young people in the regions and villages aimed at securing their full involvement in the implementation of various projects is among the most important tasks on the country's development agenda as well one of the cornerstones of its demographic policy.
Within this context the President considered important active position and zealousness of the youth, adding that such an approach would allow solving more efficiently many existing problems.
Thereupon the Head of the State visited the country’s southern wing and got acquainted with the course of agricultural activities carried out there.
NKR deputy premier Arthur Aghabekyan and other officials partook in the meeting.
