On November 3, Edward Nalbandian, Foreign Minister of Armenia, had a meeting in Berlin with Christoph Heusgen, Chief Foreign and Security Policy Adviser the Chancellor of Germany.
Foreign Minister of Armenia and German Chancellor’s Chief Adviser exchanged views on the Armenian-German relations and the perspectives of their development.
During the meeting, the sides discussed in details international and regional issues.
Edward Nalbandian presented the efforts of Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs aimed at the creation of conducive conditions for the advancement of peaceful settlement process of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The sides touched upon the current situation in the Middle East, protection of minorities, issues related to the aid to refugees.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the Armenia-European Union relations, as well as the ongoing negotiations on a new legal framework of those relations.
