Sciences A. Adamyan and F. Soghoyan, RA Minister of Diaspora
Hranush Hakobyan discussed the directions of the
Armenia-Diaspora partnership, emphasizing the issue of
assimilation of Russian-Armenians. The academics expressed
concerns with the lack of remembrance of Armenian in Russia,
mentioning that serious measures must be taken against that. The
participants of the meeting shared the view that the Ministry

Armenian youth to Armenia in order for Armenian youth living or
studying in Russia to be able to spend their summer vacation in
Armenia. Adamyan and Soghoyan are certain that it is necessary
to strengthen the relations between Armenia and the provinces of
the Russian Federation and the Armenian communities, as well as
promote the return of Armenians to their roots through popular
Armenian individuals.
The sides also discussed the event to be held in
Noyemberyan on November 15. Adamyan has worked as head of the
surgeon department at the Noyemberyan hospital and his bust has
been sculpted by Russian Armenian sculptor, popular painter of
Russia, laureate of the Lenin Prize, Fridrich (Frid) Soghoyan
upon the request of citizens of Noyemberyan. The opening of the
bust installed in Noyemberyan will be held on October 15.
