Government takes decision on deferal of VAT payment by
Shamb Business company for three years

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 8, NOYAN TAPAN. During October 8 sitting,
the Armenian government took a decision to defer the payment of
value added tax of 810 thousand dollars (calculated by tax
bodies) by Shamb Business company for 3 years - in case it
imports goods of over 300 million drams. According to RA
Minister of Economy Nerses Yeritsian, this food processing
company operates in Syunik Marz and has to import equipment
worth more than 300 million drams.
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said this is the second
decision on deferral of VAT payments, which is conducive to the
implementation of investment projects in Armenia.
