MOSCOW, FEBRUARY 9, NOYAN TAPAN. The Moscow Open international chess tournament finished on February 7. Out of the Armenian chess players competing in Group A, Rafael Vahanian was the best: he earned 6 out of possible 9 points and took 32nd place. In Group B, Suren Poghosian earned 8.5 out of possible 9 points and was recognized the winner. David Gevorgian earned 8 points and took second place. About 40 chess players from Armenia will participate in Aeroflot Open to be held in Moscow on February 16-27.
