Suren Poghosian recogized winner in Group B of Moscow Open

MOSCOW, FEBRUARY 9, NOYAN TAPAN. The Moscow Open
international chess tournament finished on February 7. Out of
the Armenian chess players competing in Group A, Rafael Vahanian
was the best: he earned 6 out of possible 9 points and took 32nd
place. In Group B, Suren Poghosian earned 8.5 out of possible 9
points and was recognized the winner. David Gevorgian earned 8
points and took second place.
About 40 chess players from Armenia will participate in
Aeroflot Open to be held in Moscow on February 16-27.
