YEREVAN, OCTOBER 17, NOYAN TAPAN. A music-cultural event dedicated to the French community in Armenia was held on October 17 at Yerevan's secondary school N 119 within the framework of the Days of the World Armenian Congress (WAC) and Union of Armenians in Russia (UAR) being held in Armenia and Artsakh. Serge Smessov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia, was also present at the event. The members of the delegation gave five computers with all necessary accessories to the school for the purpose of founding a computer room. German Ananian, the UAR Vice-Chairman, assured that the process will continue until all Armenian and Artsakh schools have computer rooms. Attaching importance to the consolidation of Armenians of the world around national ideas, he said that young generation's education and upbringing is of pivotal importance in that issue.
