MURDER CASE OF SEDRAK ZATIKIAN TO START ON SEPTEMBER

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 12, NOYAN TAPAN. The examination of the
murder case of businessman Sedrak Zatikian, the son of Vahan
Zatikian, the former prefect of the Malatia-Sebastia community
of Yerevan, will start on September 14. According to the
information provided to a Noyan Tapan correspondent in the Court
of First Instance of the above-mentioned community, the trial
will be conducted with Tigran Petrosian, the Chairman of the
above-mentioned court, at the head. Arsen Arushanian, charged
with the commitment of the murder and Arthur Hovhannisian and
Lusine Ghevondian, accused of showing assistance in the
commitment of the murder, will stand in front of the court.
The defendants Narek Khachatrian and Stepan Hakobian, who
are charged with ordering and motivating the murder, are in
search. Their case will be separately examined.
According to the bill of indictment, defendant Arsen
Arushanian killed Sedrak Zatikian and an accidental passer-by
Karine Sargsian with an "AK 74" sub-machine-gun on the crossroad
of Sebastia and Tichina streets with mercenary motives and in a
dangerous way for the lives of many people on June 22, 2006 on
the order and instigation of N. Khachatrian and S. Hakobian and
with the assistance of A. Hovhannisian and L. Ghevondian.
