ARMENIA AGAIN IN 8th PLACE AT 2007 EUROVISION SONG CONTEST

HELSINKI, MAY 13, NOYAN TAPAN. Serbia was announced the
winner of the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki on May
12.
As a result of voting with the participation of 24
countries, Armenia, which was participating in this contest for
the second time, took 8th place, although it was among top five
then and now during voting. The song "Any Time You Need" of
singer Hayko received the highest score of 12 points from Turkey
and Georgia, 10 points - from France, the Netherlands, Belgium,
Czech Republic, Poland and Russia, and 8 points - from Spain,
Cyprus and Bulgaria. 5 points went to Armenia from Austria,
Israel, Belarus and Ukraine, 2 points - from Germany and
Moldova. To recap, last year Armenian singer Andre was also in
8th place.
Representative of Ukraine Verka Serdyuchka was in second
place, the Russian band "Serebro" - in third place.
