A cultural event takes place in Paris with the participation of artists and musicians from Gyumri

On July 8, a cultural event took place in Aleck Manookyan Cultural Center of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) of Paris in the frames of the 20th anniversary of Armenian independence. Artists and musicians who had arrived from Gyumri took part in the event. The even was organized due to the Armenian Embassy to France and the European branch of AGBU. Deputy Ashot Aleksanyan made a speech at the event. Artist Vazgen Tadevosyan presented the painting exhibition titled “Armenia and France with eyes of Armenian and French children”. Photographic works of Armen Ter-Mkrtchyan were also exhibited. The axis of the event was the musical concert of the "Bambir" folk-rock group from Gyumri with the participation of the founder and head of the group Gagik Barseghyan, Narek Barseghyan and Arik Grigorian. As the RA MFA Press, Information and Public Relations Department reports the event made a great impression on the audience. The Armenian Deputy to France Vigen Chitechyan, AGBU leadership, Armenian, French artists as well as those from abroad took place in the event.
