YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 23, NOYAN TAPAN. The Europe championship of figure skating will be held in Warsaw, the capital of Poland on January 18-28 of 2007. As the Noyan Tapan correspondent was informed by Samvel Khachatrian, the Chairman of the Republican Federation of Figure Skating, probable candidates for representatives of Armenia participating in the championship, are participants of the Turino Winter Olympiads dance pair Vazgen Azroyan-Anastasia Grebyonkina and indivudual figure skater Alen Gajajian. An international festival of winter sports will be held in Spain in February. Judge of international category Marine Barseghian will accompany the figure skaters of Armenia and take part in the event. In S.Khachatrian's words, the skating-rink of big ground track of the "Karen Demirchian" sports and cultural complex will be put into operation in February. Owing to it, authoritative international tournaments will be held in Yerevan.
