YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 6, NOYAN TAPAN. Candidatures for directors of 4 scientific-research organizations were affirmed at the November 3 sitting of the Chairmanship of the RA National Academy of Sciences. Ruben Safrastian was affirmed on the director's post of the RA NAS Oriental Studies Institute, Pavel Avetisian on the director's post of the Archeology and Ethnography Institute, Tigran Zargarian on the director's post of the RA NAS Fundamental Scientific Library. 4 candidatures: Haik Demoyan, Yeranuhi Margarian, Varuzhan Poghosian and Tigran Saroukhanian, were nominated for the director's post of the Genocide Museum-Institute. As Noyan Tapan was informed by the RA NAS Information Services, Haik Demoyan was appointed on the director's post with 8 for, 1 against and 1 abstaining correlation of votes.
