The inflation was 8, 5% in June this year compared to the same month of the previous year in Armenia. The head of Price Statistics and International Comparisons of the RA National Statistics Service Gurgen Martirosyan informed about this during the press conference on August 2. According to him, 1, 4 % deflation was registered in June compared to the previous month. In G. Martirosyan’s words, the deflation was registered in August 1997-2009and 1, 7% inflation was registered in August 2010.
