WORKS BY IRANIAN ARMENIAN AND IRANIAN STUDENTS OF YEREVAN
ACADEMY OF ART PRESENTED AT ACADEMY'S EXHIBITION HALL

YEREVAN, JUNE 13, NOYAN TAPAN. An exhibition of more than
40 drawings, paintings and lithographic works of 15 Iranian
Armenian and Iranian students of drawing, painting and design
faculty of Yerevan State Academy of Art opened on June 13 at the
academy's "Albert and Tove Boyajian" exhibition hall.
Andranik Kilikian, Head of the academy's drawing chair,
reported that today 23 Iranian and 50 Iranian Armenian students
study at the academy and 10 Iranian and 15 Iranian Armenian
students in the preparatory course.
According to A.Kilikian, detailed work is carried out with
these students. "These students weren't capable of even holding
a pencil but today thanks to their diligence they can master the
secrets of the art and achieve professionalism," he mentioned.
According to Andranik Kilikian, students born in Iran have
bright imagination, which is very important for artists.
The academy professors especially highly estimated works by
Iranian Armenian students Siamanto Martirosian, Meghedi, Ninel
and Persian Mona Mobki.
