YEREVAN, DECEMBER 28, NOYAN TAPAN. The montage of the
"Enemies" short feature film by film director Davit Matevosian
is coming to the end, film's premiere will take place in 2006
spring. As the film director informed Noyan Tapan correspondent,
the film shot on the basis of Russian writer Garshin's story of
the same name raises the problem of "winner and loser."
The film director presented the Artsakh war, interrelations
between the Armenian and Turk who under conditions of war, in
the atmosphere of hatred, hostility, destruction, appeared side
by side. "They stand on the threshold of death. When calculating
the number of victims during this or that war we forget that
each of the victims is a man, be he an enemy or not. By this
film we try to show that there has never been a winner in any
war as any war is s deep personal tragedy for an individual as
it relates to the unhuman, anti-natural and death," D.Matevosian
said.
Davit Matevosian hopes that the 26-minute film will have
responses.
Actors Ashot Adamian and Edgar Minasian played the main
roles.
The film was shot within the framework of the AVANTI program
partly financed by the Swiss government, as well as with state
assistance.
