On June 9, at 10:00 o’clock, Sargis Hatspanyan will be released from “Vardashen” penitentiary. He was a freedom fighter sentenced for a false denunciation. Sargis Hatspanyan is a citizen of France. Noyan Tapan is informes about this by Karine Qalantaryan, the press secretary of RA Minister of Justice. According to her, by the amnesty of 2009 T. Hatspanyan’s punishment (3,5 years) was reduced by one third and he was to be in prison for 2 years, 7 months and 2 days. The amnesty for the 20th anniversary of Armenian Independence doesn’t refer to him because the date of his punishment was finishing.
