YEREVAN, August 30 (Noyan Tapan). Armenian sportsmen return from the 28th Summer Olympic Games without medals. About 10,500 sportsmen from 202 countries participated in the Olympic Games. None of 18 Armenian sportsmen participating in the Olympiad could become winner. The last hopes were connected with freestyle wrestlers, especially with triple world champion Ara Gevorgian (74-kilogram weight category) and European champion Martin Berberian. But neither they nor Zhirair Hovhannisian (66 kilograms) and Mamed Aghayev (84 kilograms) could perform successfully.
