SECOND INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF MONOPERFORMANCES TO BE
HELD ON SEP 14-19 IN YEREVAN

YEREVAN, August 26 (Noyan Tapan). The second international
festival of monoperformances will be held on September 14-19 in
Yerevan. Hakob Ghazanchian, the organizer of the festival,
informed Noyan Tapan that actors from Japan, India, Iran,
Russia, Serbia, Poland, Germany, Finland, Latvia, the US and
other countries will participate in the festival.
The festival will be opened with the "Second Will" Karine
Khodikian's performance. On the stage of the Yerevan Young
Spectator's Theatre Elizabeth Hess from America, Beatre Ehles
from Germany and two Armenian actresses will perform different
fragments of the same role. According to H.Ghazanchian, the
names of 2 Armenian actresses will be made more precise in
some days.
Valeri Khazanov, the Chairman of the International
Association of Monotheatre, Mladen Krstevski, the Director of
the international theatrical festival of Macedonia, Andzey
Jurovski, the Artistic Director of the "Shakespeare" festival of
Poland, and Margarita Yakhontova, the Secretary of Theatre
Workers' Union of Armenia, are among the judges of the festival.
H.Ghazanchian said that the festival will be preceded by
the presentation of the Armenian translation of "At the
Crossroads" book by Andzey Jurovski.
