EXHIBITION OF WORKS OF SIX DIASPORAN-ARMENIAN ART CRITICS
OPENED AT NATIONAL PICTURE GALLERY OF ARMENIA

YEREVAN, August 18 (Noyan Tapan). An exhibition of the
canvases and sculptures of six Syrian-Armenian art critics
Hrazdan Tokmajian, Arto Hambartsumian, Zaven Partagchian, Vigen
Sharoyan, Vrezh Kasuni and Vardges Parsumian was opened at the
National Picture Gallery of Armenia within the framework of the
"One Nation, One Culture" first Pan-Armenian cutlural festival.
According to RA Minister of Culture and Youth Affairs Hovik
Hoveyan, the works presented at the exhibition once again are
evidence of the fact that the works of the Armenian artists
living in different countries of the world gives new sense to
the Armenian fine arts. According to Karen Aghamian, Chairman
of the Armenian Artists' Union, form all the spheres it is the
culture that "preserves the Armenian nature in the Armenian,
wherever he lived".
It should be mentioned that the works of Vrezh Kasuni were
first exhibited in Armenia in 1999.
