First Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margarian took part in the 21st session of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg on October 17-20. As a member of the Chamber of Local Authorities of the Congress, Taron Margarian participated in plenary meetings of the CE Congress and in the work of its committees. The press service of Yerevan Municipality reported that during his working visit, Taron Margarian had meetings with mayors of Yerevan’s partner cities and sister cities and with members of the delegations of several CE member states. The sides exchanged opinions about efficient management of municipal facilities and services, the necessity to share experience in this issue, and the opportunities of extending mutually advantageous cooperation. Presenting the projects implemented by Yerevan Municipality, Taron Margarian said that today Yerevan is open and ready to discuss any mutually beneficial investment proposal. During the meetings, agreements on organization of practical discussions in the near future were reached.
