Jan 10 (NT - DPA) - Slovakia received no oil for the 11th
day in succession on Wednesday from its sole supplier, Russia,
officials said. The holdup has been caused by a disagreement
over transit fees between Russia and the Ukraine, through which
the oil pipeline runs. Russia signed an agreement last week to
supply Slovakia with 200,000 tons of crude in January. A total
of 96,000 barrels a day were to have been pumped to Slovakia,
162,000 a day to the Czech Republic and 352,000 a day to
Germany.
