General Director of CJSC “SCR” Victor Rebets appointed Armen Darbinyan as the deputy head of CJSC “SCR” for security. Armen Darbinyan was born on September 12, 1949 in Yerevan. In 1973 he graduated from Yerevan State University, majoring in “Chemistry”, and in 1984 he graduated from the High School of the Committee for State Security USSR after F. E. Dzerzhinsky. From 1975 to 2010 Darbinyan served in the National Security of the Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic and the Republic of Armenia. From May 12, 2003 to November 19, 2010 Armen Darbinyan served as Deputy Director of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star, the medal “For Military Merit”, Order of the RA “For Military Merit” I degree, Order of the RA “Battle Cross” II degree. He is fluent in Armenian, Russian and Persian.
