YEREVAN, MAY 11, NOYAN TAPAN. The Fund for Armenian Relief (FAR) implements in Armenia the Educational Grant program the goal of which is to encourage students studying at the higher educational institutions of Yerevan and Artsakh with high progress. As Levon Lachikian, the FAR Press Secretary informed the Noyan Tapan correspondent, 100 students, including 15 ones from Artsakh, from more than 650 students placed orders were chosen as a result of the competition announced within the framework of the program. In his words, the latters will get a prize of 50 thousand drams (about 139 U.S. dollars) each. L. Lachikian mentioned that the program is financed by Ashot Hayrapetian, the 1999 graduate of the Applied Mathematics Faculty of the Yerevan State University who at present studies in the U.S.
