Armenian champion and leader "Pyunik" (Yerevan) again performed with confidence. It beat "Mika" (Ashtarak), which places second in the tournament table, with a score of 3:0. The following standings were registered in three other matches: "Shirak" (Gyumri) - "Ararat" (Yerevan) - 0:0, "Dinamo-Zenit" (Yerevan) - "Banants" (Yerevan) - 0:3, "Kilikia" (Yerevan) - "Kotayk" (Abovyan) - 2:3. After Day 16 the teams occupy the following places in the tournament table: 1. "Pyunik" - 42 points, 2. "Mika" - 35 points, 3. "Banants" - 24 points, 4. "Ararat" - 23 points, 5. "Dinamo-Zenit" - 20 points, 6. "Kotayk" - 12 points, 7. "Kilikia" - 11 points, 8. "Shirak" - 10 points.
