SUMMIT OF SPIRITUAL LEADERS OF RUSSIA, ARMENIA, GEORGIA AND
AZERBAIJAN SCHEDULED FOR MARCH

BAKU, Jan. 18, (Noyan Tapan). In early March Spiritual
Administration of Caucasian Muslims plans to hold a summit with
the participation of spiritual leaders of Russia, Georgia,
Armenia and Azerbaijan dedicated to the problem of settlement of
armed conflicts blazing in Caucasus region.
Announcing this, Leader of the Spiritual Administration of
Caucasian Muslims Sheikh-Ul-Islam Hadji Allahshoukiur Pashazadeh
noted that the summit would be attended by representatives from
Vatican, the World Churches Council and the European Churches
Council.
Building of residencies for top guests is under way,
according to him. Stressing the importance of the forthcoming
summit for Azerbaijan, Allahshoukiur Pashazadeh pointed out to
the interest western leaders display in that summit.
