ADVISOR TO GEORGIAN AMBASSADOR KILLED IN CAR ACCIDENT

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 9, NOYAN TAPAN. Gocha Merabishvili,
Advisor to the Georgian Ambassador to Armenia for Security
Issues, was killed in a car accident. According to information
at the RA Police website, on September 7, Mercedes-Benz E200
(the licence plate 14 D 06 ARM), which Gocha Merabishvili, 36,
was driving, turned over on Ashotsk-Gyumri Road and fell into a
gorge, as a result of which G. Merabishvili died on the spot.
His wife Iya Jazashvili, 33, and son Saba Merabishvili, 8, were
admitted to hospital with bodily injuries. An investigation into
the case is being conducted.
