YEREVAN, OCTOBER 3, NOYAN TAPAN. Events envisaged within the "Erebuni-Yerevan" celebration will be held in the capital on October 13-14. As Kamo Movsisian, the Chief of the Yerevan Mayor's Office Department for Culture, Youth and Sports Issues informed at the October 2 press conference, an exhibition entitled "Yerevan with my Eyes" will open in the foyer of the Yerevan Mayor's Office on October 13. The solemn opening ceremony of the celebration will tale place on the same evening at the Al.Spendiarian Opera and Ballet National Academic Theater. The "Yerevan in my Songs" competition-festival will follow the ceremony. Different festive events will be held in parks of the capital on October 14, and the opening ceremony of the celebration will take place in the evening in the Karen Demirchian sports and cultural complex. It was also mentioned that official delegations from about 10 countries, including Russia, Ukraine, Madagaskar, will arrive in Yerevan to take part in the celebration.
