YEREVAN, JUNE 6, NOYAN TAPAN. The Russian company MTC intends to acquire 90% of ArmenTel's shares belonging to the OTE company (Greece). According to Radio Liberty, the largest mobile phone communication operator in Russia has submitted a bid for participation in the tender for ArmenTel shares' sale. According to the same source, spokesman for MTC Kiril Aliardin confirmed this information. He said that other details of the tender will be given later. Radio Liberty reminded that 90% of ArmenTel's shares is estimated at about 140 mln USD, while the remaining 10% belongs to the Armenian government.
