GAVAR, MAY 31, NOYAN TAPAN. The book fund of the library of the community of Noratus, Gegharkunik region, was replenished with 565 more books. As Noyan Tapan correspondent informs from Gavar, the books were donated by Razmik Gevorgian born in Noratus and now residing in Yerevan, from his private library. As the library employees mention, the replenishment of the book fund thanks to the donation is a great assistance for teachers, pupils and students: the donator in this way contributed to the Noratus young generation's being more literate. There were 21 thousand books at the library before this, but the specialized and foreign books were few and especially students had great difficulties under lack of specialized books.
