ANKARA, OCTOBER 21, NOYAN TAPAN. According to Chihan News Agency (Turkey), Armenian President Robert Kocharian called on in Brussels the European leaders to apply pressure on Turkey during the negotiations on Turkey's joining the European Union, urging it to improve relations with Armenia. Robert Kocharian had meetings in Brussels with EU Foreign Policy Commissioner Javier Solana and President of Europarliament Joseph Borel. Following the meeting with Armenian President, J. Borel stated that Turkey must recognize the Armenian Genocide.
