YEREVAN, NOVEMVER 21, NOYAN TAPAN. The new "No shore is
seen" performance of producer Samvel Spun (Samvel Saribekian)
has been staged on the basis of the "In the open sea" play of
Pole playwright Slavomir Mrojek. This statement was made by
actor Ashot Adamian, the author of the scenario of the
performance, at the press conference held on November 20.
In his words, at the end of the 1960s and at the beginning
of the 70s Mrojek wrote a play titled "In the open sea", which
was a story about three people, who had appeared on a float in
the open sea: the main problem of those three people was to
victual food and the arguments, which sprang up for that reason.
"We have staged the work of Mrojek in a new way, taking into
consideration the world swingings and the influence of dangerous
tendencies on the float," Ashot Adamian said and added that the
performance is a tragicomedy.
Producer Samvel Spun mentioned that this performance is the
result of the first cooperation between him and Ashot Adamian:
"Yet long ago I wanted to stage a performance based on this paly
of Mrojek, however, then this subject was prohibited." In the
words of Samvel Spun, the performance will be performed in
Armenia and abroad, including Poland, where Mrojek, the author
of the "In the open sea" play, will also be present.
It was mentioned that the performance has been staged due
to the sponsorship of the Embassy of Poland.
