YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 21, NOYAN TAPAN. Hrachya Ghaplanian Dramatic Theater's regular theatrical season will open on September 22 by the performance Hakob Paronian Comedy according to "Respected Beggars." The performance is dedicated to the 60th birth anniversary of an actor of the Dramatic Theater, Levon Sharafian, residing in the U.S. He is already in Yerevan and will take part in the performance. Armen Khandikian, the theater's Art Director, reported this at the September 19 press conference. A. Khandikian said that today Armenian theater has the problem of actors. "One could meet a student, a friend, but never an actor at the hall of the ARMMONO international theater festival. An actor is not interested in any other stages and performances except his own ones," A. Khandikian is convinced. A. Khandikian also said that that rehearsals of Stanislav Stratiyev's "Maximalist" play proceed at present: the premiere will take place on October 13. Besides, writer-playwright Gurgen Khanjian's play "Voice of Silence" or "The 6th Commandment," is being staged at the theater at present.
