YEREVAN, AUGUST 13, NOYAN TAPAN. According to data of the State Regsiter of Legal Entities and Private Businessmen of the RA Ministry of Justice, 1,902 commercial legal entities and 4,972 private businessmen got registered in January-June 2007, with their total number making 55,146 and 43,899 as of July 1, 2007. According to data of the RA National Statistical Service, 53,149 legal entities and 69,786 private businessmen were registered as of July 1, 2006. The number of legal entities grew by 3.76%, that of private businessmen declined by 37.09% in a year. 628 legal entities and 910 private businessmen were liquidated in January-June 2007. Investments of 2 bln 998 drams were made by 1,902 legal enntities registered in the indicated period of 2007. Investments of 1 bln 194.81 mln drams were made in 171 enterprises founded with foreign investments, including investments of 518.26 mln drams made in 116 enterprises founded by foreign legal entities and citizens and investments of 676.55 mln drams made in 55 joint ventures.
