The football fans stood in a one-minute silence in honor of the memory of Yan Porterfield, the chief coach of the national football team of Armenia, before the Armenia - Ukraine match in the Republican sports ground of Yerevan under the program of the group tournament of the elimination stage of the European Youth Football Championship on September 12. The Armenian football players went into the playing field with black arm ties. The match ended with a score of 2:0 in favor of the Ukranians. The goals were scored by Konstantin Kravchenko and Denis Oleynik (with a 11-meter penal).
