Belarus president said in his interview with Washington post that Washington adheres to the policy of double standards in regards to the events in Belarus and Georgia. According to Mail.ru, Lukashenko stressed that the US side treated the suppression of opposition rallies in Belarus and Georgia differently. "Georgian president suppressed the opposition’s protest in Georgia quite toughly and you continue developing relations with him. Why? Because, Saakashvili is your "son of a bitch",- the Belarus president said. It is noteworthy that Belarus president Alexander Lukashenko did not invite his Georgian counterpart to the ceremony of inauguration which was held on January 21, reported CAUCASUS PRESS.
