TBILISI, JUNE 21, NOYAN TAPAN. The International Fencing Tournament in which sportsmen from four countries took part finished in Tbilisi on June 18. Armenia was represented by 12 fencing masters. Mikayel Ghazarian (Yerevan) took second place in the epee, and Armenak Gasparian (Gyumri) took third place in the foil. Artash Madoyan, the Secretary General of the Fencing Republican Federation, told the correspondent of Noyan Tapan that fencing masters Mikayel Ghazarian and Gegham Hovsepian are preparing for the European Championship to be held in the city of Ghent in Belgium on July 2-7.
