DRESDEN, APRIL 5, NOYAN TAPAN. The 2nd stage meetings took place on April 4 at the Europe Chess Individual Championship being held in the city of Dresden, Germany. The 12 delegates of Armenia started successfully at the championship. Rafayel Vahanian, Tigran L. Petrosian, Tigran Kotanjian and Elina Danielian got 2 points from the 2 possible ones and are among the leaders. 550 chess players (400 men and 150 women) from 43 countries in total participate in the Europe championship.
