YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 27, NOYAN TAPAN. The RA NA discussed in the first reading on February 26 the draft on making amendment to the RA Code on Administrative Offenses. It will perhaps be voted on February 27. The government which is the author of the draft proposes to recognize invalid the article of the code concerning entering district center with armament. Adoption of the draft is provided by the circumstance that a punishment is envisaged for the same deed by the amendments made on December 12, 2006, to the RA Criminal Code as well. According to it, if on the vote day a person having the right of having armament demonstratively enters district center (vote cell) with an armament without service necessity is punished by imprisonment with the term from 6 months to 1 year.
