YEREVAN, OCTOBER 12, NOYAN TAPAN. According to characterization of Bagrat Yesayan, the RA Deputy Minister of Education and Science, passing to 12-year education system within the framework of the education reforms being implemented in Armenia will bring with it a number of issues, particularly, the high school functions are not yet defined in the sphere of comprehensive education. B.Yesayan mentioned in his speech made at the October 11 "Quality of Education and Conformity" middle term estimation conference of the credit program, that an attempt will be made "to give real contents to 12-year education: we'll make an attempt to introduce elements of professional orientation in high school." The Deputy Minister mentioned that parents avoid to organize at schools education of 9-10th grade pupils for addressing to institutions of higher education. The majority of them sends their children to prepare for entrance exams with tutors (private teachers). B.Yesayan assured that the professional education to be introduced in high school will completely solve this problem: pupils at high school will have complete possibility during the three years of education to get specialty and get corresponding knowledge.
