EARTHQUAKES TAKE PLACE IN TERRITORIES OF ARMENIA AND
GEORGIA ON OCTOBER 9

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 10, NOYAN TAPAN. At 17:46 by local time,
October 9, an earthquake measuring 2 took place in the territory
of Armenia, 8 km to the south-east of the town of Spitak. It
measured 3 in the epicenter. Noyan Tapan was informed about it
from RA Seismic Protection Service.
At 17:49 the same day, an earthquake measuring 2.7 took
place in the territory of Georgia, 12 km to the north-east of
the town of Ninotsminda. It measured 4 in the epicenter.
