YEREVAN, OCTOBER 3, NOYAN TAPAN. The solemn opening ceremony of the world championship of chess players below 20 (boys and girls) took place at 11:00 on October 3, at the Yerevan Chess House after Tigran Petrosian, More than 150 sportsmen from 50 countries arrived in Armenia. 10 boy and girl chess players are involved in every team of the house owners. International masters Arman Pashikian, Zaven Andriasian, Avetik Grigorian, Siranush Andriasian and others are among them. The first stage will start at 15:00, October 3. The tournament will finish on October 16.
