YEREVAN, OCTOBER 3, NOYAN TAPAN - ARMENIANS TODAY. Armenian director Naira Muradian with her "Soldatik" ("Small Soldier") film was recognized the winner in the best experimental film nomination at the "Animayevka" 9th international festival of animation films which took place in the city of Mogilov, Belarus. The prize, a crystal pen, was passed to the Embassy of Armenia to Belarus and will soon be given to the winner in Yerevan. As Noyan Tapan was informed by the RA Foreign Ministry, 37 films from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia were presented at the competition being held in five nominations at the "Animayevka-2006" international festival.
