According to the RA Government Information and PR Department, the council's working group on legal regulation examined the legal acts on regulation of electronic communication, provision of radio frequences and on licensing in the IT sector, and the practice of their use. Joint meeting of the IT DAC legal regulation, strategic and telecommunication working groups were held in order to identify problems related to legislative regulation in the IT sector.
