GAVAR ART SCHOOL ALSO PARTICIPATES IN "NRAN HATIK"
CHILDREN'S AND JUVENILE FESTIVAL

GAVAR, JUNE 20, NOYAN TAPAN. The children's and juvenile
theater company of the Gavar Art School will also participate in
the "Nran Hatik" (pomegranate's grain) republican children's and
juvenile festival being held already for the second year. It
performed the "Sunrise" play the author of which is Byureghik
Mneyan, the Artistic Head of the company, the RA Honourary
Actress. The latter informed in the interview to the Noyan Tapan
correspondent that "Sunrise" is about wanderer Armenians'
return. "As relatives of many of us are abroad, I attempted to
arise this problem which is modern especially for our marz," the
head of the group mentioned.
By the RA Government's decision, this festival will be
organized till 2012 every year. According to Garik Badalian, the
Chief of the Education, Culture, Sports and Youth Issues
Department of the Gegharkunik Regional Governor's Office Staff,
the main goal of holding the festival is to develop among
children love towards the Armenian theatrical art.
The "Nran Hatik" festival organization committee and the
"Nakhabem" (proscenium) Educational-Cultural Union's
administration gave B.Mneyan a letter of thanks for the group's
active activity and participation in all-Armenian festivals.
